On January 15, Chen Zhe, Deputy General Manager of China Southern Airlines Group Co., Ltd., delivered an inspiring speech at Beihang School of Aviation.

In his address, Chen Zhe outlined five core expectations for cadets. First, cadets should remain steadfast in their convictions and loyal to the Party, putting "safety first" as an unwavering principle. Second, they are encouraged to deepen their technical knowledge and evolve from skilled operators into “engineer-type pilots.” Third, Chen stressed the importance of discipline and personal conduct as foundations of professional growth. Fourth, he emphasized the need for physical and mental well-being to meet the challenges of a demanding career. Finally, he called on students to cultivate a global outlook and a strong sense of responsibility in serving the nation’s aviation ambitions.

Closing his speech, Chen Zhe encouraged all cadets to take the eight-character motto —"Aspire, Study Diligently, Correct Mistakes, and Promote Virtue," as their guide for both learning and life.
