In support of the national strategy to build a strong civil aviation industry, the School of Aviation (SA) at Beihang University is dedicated to cultivating high-quality talent through active development of postgraduate education. The School has designed a "One Core, Two Supports" discipline structure, positioning Transportation Engineering as the core discipline, with Unmanned Systems Science & Technology and Safety Science & Engineering as the two complementary wings. Key research thrusts include civil aviation transportation, intelligent sensing and information processing, and aviation safety management. Through university-industry collaboration and a dual-drive model integrating "academia and practice," the School aims to develop top-tier pilots, integrated air traffic management professionals for both manned and unmanned aircraft, as well as R&D and management talent for civil connected and intelligent unmanned systems.
