Recently, Undergraduate students from Beihang School of Aviation have, for the first time, published research as first authors in IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics (TMECH) – a top-tier international journal in mechatronics engineering (CAS Zone 1 Top, IF: 5.9).

The micro dual-rotor UAV developed by the team has set a world record for hovering endurance.

Liu Yinglun and Bao Yubing, undergraduates majoring in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems Engineering at the SA, are the co-first authors. Lecturer He Xiang serves as the corresponding author.
