China Southern Airlines and the School of Aviation recently co-organized the preliminary selection for the 2026 Joint University-Enterprise Pilot Recruitment Program at Yiling High School in Yichang City, Hubei Province. Attending the selection event were Zhao Ying, Secretary of the Party Committee of Beihang School of Aviation, Shen Yuanhong, Head of Pilot Recruitment of the School, and Zeng Congtao, Head of Pilot Recruitment of China Southern Airlines' Hubei Branch.

On-site, participating students actively underwent multiple preliminary assessment components, including the Pilot Aptitude Test (PAT), vision screening, and a comprehensive interview. This initial selection marks the first critical step in identifying promising candidates for pilot training, aiming to select top talent based on stringent standards. Both Beihang School of Aviation and the airline expressed their commitment to deepening cooperation, strengthening the promotion of recruitment policies, and encouraging more outstanding young students to pursue careers in aviation, thereby providing talent support for building China into a leading civil aviation nation.
